Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Lorain, OH seeks an Operations Manager to lead U.S. operations across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, finance, and admin, driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

The role partners with Sales, Product Management, and Finance to deliver customer satisfaction, cost control, and continuous improvement, while serving as authorized signatory for the U.S. entity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, supply chain or related fields.
• Knowledge of and experience organizing effective business operations in a commercial environment;
• Knowledge of and insight into factors that influence customer needs and satisfaction regarding manufacturability, quality, return, risk management, etc.
• Experience with personnel management, implementing changes in organizations, knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for safety, health and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual operational plans aligned with corporate strategy and North American business objectives.
• Establish departmental goals, budgets, staffing plans, and performance metrics.
• Lead manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, maintenance, and support functions to achieve production and customer service targets.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost control.
• Oversee staffing, equipment, materials, and resources to meet demand.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Provide financial leadership for U.S. operations and oversee budgeting and reporting.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports across Operations and Finance.
• Promote employee engagement and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations; support quality systems.
• Participate in Local Management Team and strategic planning.
