Job summary

360 Recruiting Group, a trusted partner to New England manufacturers, seeks an Operations Manager to lead daily operations in Waterbury. This high-impact role reports to the President and offers growth opportunities within a stable manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include production planning, KPI development, safety, and continuous improvement, with a path for professional advancement and direct access to company leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years Operations/Production Management experience in a small job shop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic familiarity with ISO 9001 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring efficient and effective production, quality, and inventory management.
• Plan production and scheduling to meet demand and optimize resources.
• Create and monitor KPIs; drive improvements in on-time delivery, lead times, waste, and efficiency.
• Train and develop supervisory staff and operators; enforce safety and compliance.
• Maintain machinery and equipment; oversee the Quality function with the Quality Supervisor.
• Control inventory and manage continuous improvement initiatives; resolve escalated issues.
• Foster a safe, clean, and productive work environment by training staff on equipment use.
