Job summary

Versant Health, a leading vision care administrator, seeks a Manager of Manufacturing in Newtown Square, PA, to oversee all manufacturing operations with a focus on quality, cost, delivery and safety. You will drive continuous improvement, manage a diverse team, and ensure customer satisfaction through strong process discipline.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing and a solid understanding of quality systems and lab operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing facility
• Knowledge of laboratory operations, equipment, workflow and quality systems
• Ability to read and comprehend complex English instructions and memos, and to write similar correspondence

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations with accountability for quality, cost, delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Drive site performance using KPIs such as productivity, quality, cost, capacity and service
• Maintain consistent processes and procedures to support efficient operations
• Lead continuous improvement to eliminate waste, improve throughput and reduce costs
• Develop metrics and KPIs aligned with customer expectations for service
• Lead and develop the site management team and supervise staff performance
