Job summary

Ralliant is seeking an Operations Manager in Plainville, CT to lead manufacturing operations and drive SQDIP performance. You will manage supervisors, plan labor, and champion safety and quality initiatives across value streams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in manufacturing leadership, with strong Lean/Six Sigma and ERP/MRP experience. Collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and HR is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and value streams.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost analysis, and P&L understanding.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing execution across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, productivity, and engagement.
• Develop supervisors, professional staff, and operations support teams; drive accountability for SQDIP results.
• Plan labor, staffing, overtime, shifts, resources, and capacity to meet customer needs.
• Drive Daily Management, KPI rigor, visual controls, leader standard work, and accountability.
• Champion safety and quality culture; ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Ralliant Business System initiatives to eliminate waste and improve capacity.
• Apply structured problem-solving at the gemba to address recurring production, quality, and process issues.
• Manage budgets, labor efficiency, productivity, and cost-out initiatives; improve throughput and working capital.
• Build leadership capability through coaching, cross-training, succession planning, and development.
