Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our North Mankato facility. You will own the production schedule, drive customer commitments, and guide a team of supervisors and operators to deliver safe, efficient, and quality outcomes.

You will develop people, manage staffing and capacity, and use data to drive decisions that improve productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading people in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions and set priorities in a fast-changing production environment.
• Ability to use operational data and reporting to make sound decisions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own daily execution of the production schedule and customer commitments.
• Establish clear priorities and expectations across production areas and shifts.
• Monitor production performance and take corrective action when off-plan.
• Ensure effective handoffs and strong communication between shifts.
• Develop supervisors and operators to build accountability and skills.
• Drive Lean, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall business performance.
