Job summary

O&K American Corp. in Seymour, IN is seeking an Operations & Facilities Manager to lead maintenance and plant operations. The role focuses on 5S, safety, quality, productivity, and facility management within a steel wire manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management (Master’s preferred) and several years of manufacturing leadership experience, with strong communication and vendor-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management; Master’s preferred.
• Several years of manufacturing management experience, preferably wire manufacturing.
• Strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor interaction ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all manufacturing equipment and property management.
• Direct and lead the plant and equipment organization for success.
• Minimize unplanned downtime by reviewing operations of plant equipment and systems.
• Initiate, implement, and manage maintenance program based on best practices.
• Manage budgets, labor efficiency, material usage, safety and environmental standards.
