JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
  • Drive manufacturing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support new product introductions and production readiness.
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop and validate assembly processes and manufacturing standards.
  • Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve productivity and quality.
  • Provide hands-on support in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support manufacturing process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot production and equipment issues.
  • Develop and optimize assembly processes.
  • Support new product introductions and capital projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing teams.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve quality and efficiency.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of engineering or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes, equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving, and production operations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production processes.
  • Manufacturing problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Process improvement and continuous improvement techniques.Experience with CAD tools such as Creo and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing best practices.
  • Equipment validation, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and project coordination skills.
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Creo, AutoCAD, and manufacturing engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Project management experience and/or PMP certification.
  • Lean certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Strong process improvement and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience with equipment implementation, validation, and manufacturing optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
