Job summary

Atrium Staffing seeks an Operations Coordinator for a packaging manufacturer in New Jersey. You will support daily production flow, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include tracking production issues, maintaining clear documentation, and driving process improvements to meet customer requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in production coordination or related role.
• Strong understanding of production timelines and order flow.
• Ability to manage multiple open orders and production issues.
• Strong communication to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Account Management, Shipping, and Leadership.
• Experience with ERP systems or production planning tools preferred.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production coordination for active customer orders, timelines, priorities, and follow-up items.
• Serve as a key contact between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
• Track open production issues, delays, quality concerns, and action items for timely resolution.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Account Management, and Shipping to move orders forward.
• Review production details, samples, materials, specifications, and orders for accuracy.
• Partner with Quality to address nonconforming work and gaps.
• Communicate status and risks to internal stakeholders.
• Support production planning, scheduling, and capacity coordination.
