Job summary

RRD in Illinois is seeking a Packaging/Material Handler to coordinate manufacturing operations, maximize productivity, and ensure quality while controlling costs in a climate controlled environment.

You will work with laminator machines and small equipment, maintain records, verify documentation, and train others in lean methodologies; 2–5 years in manufacturing with English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years work history in a manufacturing environment required; printing experience preferred.
• Ability to read specifications and identify correct parts for orders.
• Knowledge of shipping documents and labeling requirements.
• Proficient in data entry and generating reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned manufacturing operations to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
• Work with laminator machine and other small equipment.
• Ensure processes are followed and audit work to meet specs.
• Maintain daily production records and generate reports as needed.
• Uphold safety procedures for all employees.
• Assist with receiving and organizing materials to kitting area.
• Expedite flow of materials and coordinate through appropriate channels.
• Provide status updates to various departments.
• Train others in new processes and lean methodologies.
