Job summary

Fathom Digital Manufacturing in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Methods Development team member to translate customer documents into operational requirements for CNC, metal finishing, and assembly processes within ISO 13485 or similar environments.

You will read drawings, use SolidWorks, and collaborate with Sourcing, Production, and Engineering to develop manufacturable methods and drive improvements under deadlines and with multi-tasking responsibilities.

Qualifications

CNC manufacturing experience in manual and automated environments.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Proficient with SolidWorks or other CAD programs.
Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and SharePoint.
Finance experience with P&L responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review all supplied documents and input into the ERP all necessary operations, materials, purchase components and outside processes.
Use SolidWorks to develop all of the above without paper documents.
Collaborate with sourcing to align procurement with specifications.
Collaborate with production to improve methods for customer requirements.
Ensure accuracy and quality of methods for competitiveness and profitability.
May manage specific assignments and projects.
Answer technical questions from manufacturers on part manufacture.
Review ECOs/modifications and communicate impacts.
Contribute to new services and efficiency projects.
Collaborate to enhance design for manufacturability.
