Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on equipment, machinery, or systems; troubleshoot and diagnose issues; perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or electrical/mechanical problems; assess problems, determine appropriate actions, and execute repairs or coordinate with specialized technicians if necessary.
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities such as lubricating parts, changing filters, calibrating instruments, replacing worn components, and conducting system checks.
• Address maintenance requests or work orders from other departments or employees.
• Assist with installation, setup, or upgrading of new equipment, machinery, or systems.
• Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards or risks and follow established safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments (production, engineering, facilities) to coordinate maintenance and ensure efficient operations.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and relevant regulations.

Position

Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Location

Interprint, Inc. 101 Central Berkshire Blvd. Pittsfield, MA. Nearby: Lee, MA; Westfield, MA; Troy, NY; Albany, NY.

Hours and Compensation

Hours: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm with overtime based on business needs. Pay range: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour, based on experience.
