Waev Inc. is an electric mobility OEM based in Anaheim, CA, seeking a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to optimize assembly line efficiency and implement lean solutions. You will collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain to deliver practical fixes that improve flow and productivity.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering and have hands-on experience with kanban, kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping, plus a track record of measurable improvements on real lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles - kanban, kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping.
• A track record of driving measurable efficiency improvements on a production or assembly line.
• Comfort working directly with production teams and translating floor-level needs into engineering solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward practical, implementable fixes over theory.
• Experience and a deep understanding of process design, implementation, and validation.

Responsabilités

• Complete engineering tasks and requests assigned by the production team, prioritizing work that keeps the line moving.
• Identify, design, and implement assembly line efficiency improvements - reducing cycle time, cutting waste, and removing bottlenecks.
• Design, build, and maintain kanban systems that keep material replenishment tied to actual consumption on the line.
• Partner with production, quality, and supply chain to troubleshoot issues as they come up and get fixes into place quickly.
• Document process changes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures so improvements stick.
• Track the impact of changes with real data and report out on efficiency gains.
• Support tooling, fixtures, and layout changes needed to improve flow and ergonomics.
