Job summary

Prysmian Group in Taunton, MA is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires hands-on mechanical skills, basic pneumatics, and ability to operate machine tools.

The position offers on-site work on the 4th shift (7:30 pm – 7:30 am) with shift premiums and benefits. High school diploma and basic English proficiency are required; SAP basics are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• OJT completion for specific job classification as required.
• SAP basic user certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and make required repairs.
• General mechanics, pneumatics and power transmission equipment repairs as it relates to wire and cable equipment; operate machine shop tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures and participate in continuous improvement events.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with safety procedures.
• Ensure products meet quality requirements per Plant QMS.
• Be able to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work overtime as needed.
