Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule work across fabrication departments.
• Review MRP action and exception messages; adjust work orders (expedites, cancellations).
• Coordinate shop/work order changes with managers to support production priorities.
• Identify production, capacity, personnel, and material issues and report to supervisor.
• Schedule and distribute pick tickets and labels to the warehouse.
• Identify parts needing expediting and communicate material staging needs.
• Monitor shortages and coordinate timely expediting.
• Review engineering drawings to assess manufacturability.
• Create process routings for internally fabricated components.
• Update processes and schedules based on Engineering Change Notices.
• Cover Production Control Manager in their absence.
