Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or business administration or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in Coating/adhesive or chemical industry.
• Proven performance in continuous improvement practices and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production areas to meet safety, quality, manufacturing standards and finances.
• Provide leadership, support and guidance to employees and ensure goals are met.
• Facilitate training and cross-training for flexibility within and across departments.
• Communicate area performance, projects, and initiatives across the business.
• Drive optimum team performance impacting safety, quality, delivery, cost and development.
• Review production variances, scrap and cycle counts to drive improvements.
• Oversee manufacturing policy implementation and maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with HR, Warehouse, Quality, R&D, Finance, Engineering to drive operations.
