Job summary

IPG is seeking a Manufacturing Manager I to lead daily plant operations, ensuring safety, quality and productivity. Based in our Kentucky facility, you will guide supervision, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement.

You will collaborate across departments to meet goals, implement IPS metrics, and develop plans for certification and performance. The role requires strong communication, a hands-on approach to lean initiatives, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Business Administration or other technical field.
• Minimum 3+ years in a supervisor/manager role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based tools.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge and IPS familiarity.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to manage heavy workloads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations and provide safety, quality, and productivity leadership.
• Allocate workloads, monitor quality, and champion safety and health of staff.
• Develop and prioritize manufacturing plans to meet service, quality, and productivity goals.
• Implement IPS metrics and pursue site certification targets.
• Foster employee engagement to drive continuous improvement projects.
• Define area vision aligned with site and corporate goals; optimize technology use.
• Manage labor and capital to balance budgets; schedule resources and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contacts as a site leader.
• Assist in creating annual performance plans to achieve site goals; perform related duties.
