Job summary

ALPLA INC. is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for the Guayama plant in Puerto Rico. The role represents ALPLA on plant level and drives optimization and continuous improvement to secure the plant's future.

You will oversee planning, production and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations. We seek a Bachelor/Master or Diploma in operations/manufacturing with 5+ years in manufacturing (plastics preferred), strong cost metrics, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master or Diploma degree with affinity to operations/manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, preferably plastics packaging.
• Deep understanding of cost calculation and performance metrics.
• Proven track of leadership experience and ability to train and develop the operations team.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and proactive in solving problems.
• Proficiency in English; other languages an advantage.
• Willing to travel for work.

The Manufacturing Manager represents ALPLA on plant level. With entrepreneurial actions the job holder secures the future of the respective ALPLA plant with optimization and continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for all topics concerning the plant's operations including planning, production and maintenance.
