Job summary

AtWork Personnel is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Las Vegas to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. The role ensures safe, reliable operation and supports business goals through preventive maintenance and urgent repairs.

You will work with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, following manuals and blueprints while maintaining compliance with OSHA, FDA, and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance.
• PLC and HVAC knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, inspections, and maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders to guide repairs and maintenance.
• Replace or repair defective parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
• Carry out preventive maintenance routines, plumbing, and carpentry as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report to supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Adhere to OSHA, FDA, GMP and all plant safety regulations.
