Job summary

The Maintenance Technician will support manufacturing operations by maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing all facilities and manufacturing equipment in a safe and professional manner.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, PM work, equipment installation, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Proficiency with CMMS and read electrical/hydraulic diagrams is expected, with experience in robotics handling and lift devices beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment, Automotive experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years documented Industrial Maintenance Department experience.
• Journeyman certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and prepare written reports, instructions, and procedures.
• Experience using fork trucks and aerial lift devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant and departmental attainment of safety, quality, productivity, and financial goals.
• Respond to maintenance requests with prompt, professional demeanour.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and PM equipment, systems, and facilities following regulations and best practices.
• Setup, installation, and commissioning of machinery for moves and launches.
• Use and manage the Maintenance CMMS for work orders and PMs.
• Support facilities maintenance and CI activities including welding and lifting equipment.
• Complete required trainings per MIOSHA, NEC, JIC, and DNR.
