Job summary

Curries, an ASSA ABLOY company, is expanding its Maintenance Team at the Mason City manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and improves production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient operations.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, fabricate components, install modifications, read mechanical drawings, and work with Engineering to boost reliability while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with CNC equipment, laser systems, robotics, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery; replace worn components.
• Perform welding, brazing, soldering, drilling, tapping, and metal fabrication.
• Repair hydraulic systems, valves, cylinders, pumps; install guards and safety devices.
• Fabricate and install brackets, tables, stands, and other support structures.
• Move and install machinery and production equipment within the facility.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and technical support.
• Work with Engineering and Operations to improve equipment reliability.
• Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
