Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment across our U.S. facilities. The role requires reading schematics, PLC work, and adherence to safety standards.

Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs with occasional team lifting. Hourly pay is between $25.00 and $30.00, with benefits including 401(k), disability, life, health/dental/vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance/electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs and ability to read schematics.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of basic safety programs (lock-out/tag-out) and hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical principles.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment, electrical components and special purpose machines as assigned.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluids; perform maintenance actions per checklists.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using hoists and tools.
