A-Line Staffing Solutions seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift in Cockeysville, MD to operate and maintain highly automated equipment. The role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation to minimize downtime.
This is a contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance and performance. Role requires 4+ years of relevant experience and reading schematics, with training on 1st shift for ~3 months.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read electrical/pneumatic schematics.
- Basic PC skills including MS Excel/Word.
- Experience with industrial controls preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine setup/operation and maintenance, PMs, and troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment.
- Control and adjust machine settings; support production, quality, downtime, and waste targets during operation.
- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance repairs/adjustments/inspections on production and facility-related equipment.
- Independently support multiple production lines, including setups and changeovers.
- Provide operator support across the assigned area based on operational needs.
- Conduct root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions.
- Complete accurate quality, safety, and maintenance documentation and logs.
- Coordinate with external vendors/contractors as needed.
- Follow established procedures and site safety/housekeeping requirements.

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift | Automated Manufacturing Equipment). This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).
Location: Cockeysville, MD – 100% on-site
Payrate: $31.05/hr
Required Availability: Full-Time (40+ hrs/week) | Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (2nd Shift)
Must be able to work 1st shift during training for ~3 months: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Must be available for onboarding week Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime as needed
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will support production by operating and maintaining highly automated manufacturing equipment, including performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to reduce downtime. This role completes mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance activities, supports equipment changeovers, and ensures accurate documentation for quality and maintenance processes. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
- Experience: 4+ years relevant experience
- Technical Skills: Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting/repair on complex equipment
- Documentation/Blueprints: Ability to read electrical/pneumatic schematics and interpret manuals/diagrams/specs
- Computer Skills: Basic PC skills (including MS Excel and MS Word)
- Tools/Diagnostics: Comfortable using measurement tools/precision instruments (multimeter experience preferred)
- Preferred (Nice to Have): Experience with industrial controls (instrumentation/ladder logic/VFD/servo), PLCs, robotics, vision systems, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, SAP maintenance modules, basic machining/welding
