Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Maintenance Tech for our Temperance, MI facility. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing plant equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient operation.

You will train other technicians as needed and work with outside contractors on improvements. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, basic PLC/industrial electrical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Technical or Trade school degree preferred, or HS diploma/GED plus 1 year in maintenance.
• Basic understanding of industrial electricity.
• PLC experience a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Follows OSHA and company safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance in assigned area.
• Document work orders and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate communication with team and supervisor.
• Coordinate with outside contractors on projects.
• Ensure proper parts inventory and Proteus documentation.
