Job summary

Powell in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, both automated and manual. Shift is 2:30PM - 1AM Monday through Thursday with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include maintaining CNC Laser Cutting, CNC Turret Punch Press, robotic welding, automated material handling, and coating equipment, plus HVAC and electrical systems across the facility. Collaboration and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance group.
• Minimum of 75 classroom study hours or seminar training in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, welding, machine tools, and/or troubleshooting.
• Experience with CNC control systems.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality system.
• Experience with PCs and Windows software.
• Must have a basic command of English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment, both automated and manual.
• Conduct emergency and preventative maintenance on machines and systems in the facility.
• Assist production and manufacturing engineers with process and machinery improvements.
• Maintain facilities equipment and systems such as HVAC, electrical, and mechanical devices.
• Support cross-functional teams in a multi-cultural environment.
