Job summary

Opex Edge LLC in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a driven Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance crew and keep production lines running at peak performance.

You will plan preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, manage work orders and spare parts, and drive safety and continuous improvement with the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or lead maintenance role.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians across manufacturing operations.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment failures.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff performance.
