Job summary

Holt Technical Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturer in Connecticut to find a hands-on Maintenance Technician. You will fault-find, repair equipment, and keep production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You'll develop and maintain preventive PM schedules, perform routine inspections, assemble and maintain tooling, and support machine shop operations. Welding and basic electrical troubleshooting are part of the role, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience with preventive and reactive maintenance programs.
• Familiar with production machinery and machine shop equipment.
• Welding, fabrication or mechanical assembly skills.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting understanding.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility systems.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
• Carry out routine inspections and maintain critical machinery.
• Assemble, adjust and maintain production tooling and equipment.
• Support machine shop operations and manufacturing processes.
