Confidential Employer in Windsor, CT, is seeking a hands-on Plant Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and other industrial equipment; you will read prints and support preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Candidates need 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical troubleshooting, CNC exposure, and the ability to solve problems independently while prioritizing multiple tasks.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints.
  • CNC machine experience and preventive maintenance background.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and other industrial production equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and complete repairs efficiently
  • Read electrical, mechanical, and equipment prints to identify faults and determine solutions
  • Maintain and improve a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
  • Troubleshoot equipment such as welders, glass optimizers, notch boxes, and related machinery
  • Support basic PLC troubleshooting and programming when needed
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend practical improvements
  • Prioritize maintenance needs while balancing multiple projects and production demands

Job description

  • Take ownership of critical plant equipment and make a visible impact on day to day manufacturing operations
  • Work hands on with CNC machinery, electrical systems, mechanical equipment, welders, and other production equipment

Location:

On-site in Windsor, CT. This is a hands-on plant maintenance position for someone who enjoys being close to the equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently.

Note:

Candidates must have 3+ years of directly relevant industrial maintenance experience. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to read prints, CNC machine experience, and experience maintaining a comprehensive preventive maintenance program are important for success in this role.
