Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Technician to construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment across the facility. You will identify parts needed, interpret drawings, and respond to production requests while communicating with management to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance and completing tasks with accuracy and efficiency, balancing time and resource constraints in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General mathematics ability
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components
• Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments
• Interpret drawings of equipment to adjust, maintain or repair machinery
• Respond to production area requests for mechanical issue resolution
• Communicate with production management to diagnose problems
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with time and resources
