Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment at our West Virginia facility. You will work with PLCs and read schematics while ensuring safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance/electrician work within manufacturing, with strong knowledge of lock-out/tag-out, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance/electrician experience, including manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs and reading schematics.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical principles.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment and electrical components.
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems using blueprints and manuals.
• Use hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, and replace parts.
• Inspect motors, drives, belts, fluids; perform maintenance checks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts safely.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
