Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Walker, MI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance teams and maximize equipment uptime. This role focuses on coordinating preventive maintenance, managing spare parts, and guiding safety programs in a busy manufacturing environment.

Candidates should bring strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus experience with CMMS and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safe work practices.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Five or more years in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
Train technicians and support continuous improvement on the plant floor.
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for production equipment and facility systems.
Assign work orders to maintenance technicians and follow up on completion.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs to limit downtime.
Manage spare parts inventory and order supplies within budget.
Enforce safety rules and lockout tagout procedures in the maintenance area.
Track maintenance metrics such as uptime, response time, and repair costs.
