Job summary

The Pivot Group Careers is actively seeking Maintenance Managers to connect with manufacturers in and around Coopersville, MI. This role focuses on leading maintenance teams, enforcing safety standards, and driving equipment reliability in a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

OSHA standards and safe work practices are required.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Five or more years in industrial maintenance, including supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.

Responsibilities

Manage spare parts inventory and order supplies within budget.
Enforce safety rules and lockout tagout procedures in the maintenance area.
Track maintenance metrics such as uptime, response time, and repair costs.
Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
Train technicians and support continuous improvement on the plant floor.
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for production equipment and facility systems.
Assign work orders to maintenance technicians and follow up on completion.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs to limit downtime.
