Job summary

Pyromation, a leading manufacturer of temperature sensors and thermowells, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead Lean initiatives across production. You will establish and sustain systems that maximize value, drive customer satisfaction, and embed daily improvement across value streams.

This hands-on role requires coaching teams, facilitating 6S, and partnering with the Manufacturing Value Stream Leader.

Qualifications

Associate degree in business-related curriculum or the equivalence of four years of experience in a similar capacity to manufacturing or four years of manufacturing experience.
Four-year degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Lean Manufacturing in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, coach, and mentor project and event leaders for continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and mentor continuous improvement team members and help prioritize their activities.
Conduct training to support improvement activities and lean skills development.
Facilitate 6S training and monitor 6S status across the facility.
Lead monthly follow-up meetings to report progress of improvement activities.
