Job summary

MITER Brands’ Tacoma manufacturing plant is launching a 12–18-month Supervisor Trainee program designed to prepare high‑potential candidates for front‑line supervision in windows and doors operations.

You will gain hands‑on experience across Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Distribution, Materials, Continuous Improvement, and Human Resources, with exposure to all stages of the process from fabrication to shipping.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules across day and swing shifts.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended shifts.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Detail-oriented with safety focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand window and door manufacturing operations and quality.
• Lead production teams through coaching and engagement.
• Manage daily production activities while supporting safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Apply Lean, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support schedules and inventory.
• Develop communication and leadership skills through projects.
• Analyze manufacturing metrics to improve safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
