Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, applying Lean, Six Sigma and NPI practices to scale production while ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will supervise production staff, develop standardized work, coordinate cross-functional teams, support NPI transitions, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-growing hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing experience in a production or leadership role.
• Six Sigma certification preferred; Black Belt a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and transitioning products from development into production.
• Experience developing, improving, or implementing manufacturing processes.
• Experience in startup/high-growth/scaling manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work with Engineering on manufacturability issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing activities to support safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Supervise production employees and establish clear expectations around safety, quality, productivity, and accountability.
• Identify bottlenecks and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Support production scheduling, staffing, training, and resource planning.
• Establish and maintain standardized work, work instructions, and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements in throughput, quality, and workflow.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
