Job summary

Trane Technologies in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high‑volume lean manufacturing team. You will monitor daily operations, focus on safety, quality, cost and output, and collaborate with department leaders to meet plant goals.

The role requires a GED, prior supervisory experience, strong problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to coach and develop staff. Annual base salary ranges from 65,200 to 93,660 with benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Effective communication skills that demonstrate a supportive team member.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall performance of the team, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.
• Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow.
• Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members.
• Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations.
