Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. in Beasley, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the Tubout department, directing scheduling, staff, and production plans to meet on-time delivery, quality, safety, and efficiency goals.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, process improvements, and adherence to health and safety standards, with supervision of staff and recruitment activities as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• 8+ years production/manufacturing processes and techniques experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with JD Edwards (preferred) or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production scheduling and coordination of activities within the respective group
• Initiate inter-departmental collaboration to meet production proficiencies and quality objectives
• Oversee production processes and guide personnel on production plans, schedules and key metrics
• Develop/implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
• Provide leadership to achieve positive morale, production efficiencies, adherence to company policies, production timelines while maintaining high levels of quality and safety
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety guidelines/procedures/standards
• Collaborate with Engineering on design, new product development, equipment specifications, appropriate documentation
• Investigate production issues and develop resolutions
• Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluations, discipline, succession programs and retention
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
