Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in related area.
• Proven experience solving problems and navigating ambiguity.
• Team player mentality with collaborative approach.
• Understand and use basic blueprints.
• Understand and use basic math.

Responsibilities

• Utilize employee resources and equipment to achieve production plans and schedules within a specified timeframe.
• Train, inform, and onboard employees to procedures, processes and safety standards.
• Complete 45-day, 90-day, and annual employee reviews accurately; ensure timely sign-off.
• Maintain production records, attendance, right-to-know and training records.
• Coordinate raw materials, parts, and staffing with other departments.
• Escalate employee problems and coordinate with appropriate authorities.
• Evaluate workflow and propose improvements to minimize costs.
• Manage employee performance and attendance with real-time feedback.
• Participate in weekly supervisory meetings and relay information to staff.
• Update manufacturing manager on progress of production plans.
• Enforce work rules, safety policies and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure drawings, BOMs, and related info are current and accurate.
• Use QA resources when defects are identified.
• Identify shortages and communicate weekly to purchasing.
• Communicate pending information with Master Scheduler and production team.
• Pursue 5S and lean manufacturing improvements.
• Contribute to improvements in production processes and throughput.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Shift: Mon-Thu 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM or Fri-Sun 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
