Job summary

StaffSource seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead the production of custom hardware, including electromechanical gate systems and edge compute enclosures, in Seattle. You will manage manufacturing technicians, drive process quality, and ensure certifications are in place.

Collaborating with operations, logistics, and engineering, you will develop KPI metrics, forecast needs, coordinate shipping and inventory, and report risks to leadership in a fast-growing hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in electronics/electromechanical manufacturing and 2+ years leading teams.
• Experience with UL, CE, FCC, or similar certifications.
• Experience with contract manufacturers or in-house hardware production.
• Knowledge of logistics, inventory systems, lean manufacturing, and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing of electronics and electromechanical systems.
• Lead, mentor, and train manufacturing technicians.
• Establish workflows and improve quality control processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for yield, cycle time, quality, and process capability.
• Own product and lab certifications, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate on forecasting, planning, and field failure analysis.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory with logistics partners.
• Improve manufacturing and inventory management systems.
• Report manufacturing metrics, quality results, and risks to leadership.
