Job summary

StaffSource seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead the production of custom hardware, including electromechanical gate systems and edge compute enclosures, in Seattle. You will manage manufacturing technicians, drive process quality, and ensure certifications are in place.

Collaborating with operations, logistics, and engineering, you will develop KPI metrics, forecast needs, coordinate shipping and inventory, and report risks to leadership in a fast-growing hardware environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in electronics/electromechanical manufacturing and 2+ years leading teams.
  • Experience with UL, CE, FCC, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with contract manufacturers or in-house hardware production.
  • Knowledge of logistics, inventory systems, lean manufacturing, and 5S.

  • Establish workflows and improve quality control processes.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for yield, cycle time, quality, and process capability.

Who You Are

Seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead manufacturing of custom hardware supporting a field-deployed recognition platform, including electromechanical gate systems, edge compute enclosures, and display hardware.

This role leads manufacturing technicians, oversees production processes, certifications, quality systems, and vendor relationships while partnering across operations, logistics, and engineering.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with UL, CE, FCC, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with contract manufacturers or in-house hardware production.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP and inventory systems, lean manufacturing, and 5S methodologies.
  • Logistics and 3PL coordination experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Experience in high-growth environments is a plus
