Manufacturing Lead/Coordinator

Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 2:30pm; MON TUE WED THU FRI 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Overview

As a Full-time Manufacturing Lead/Coordinator, you will oversee production flow within your team's scope, ensuring safety, quality, prompt delivery, productivity, and growth. You will be responsible for all aspects of your team's performance, which will be evaluated based on safety, quality, delivery (Overall, Specials, FPY), cost, 5S, productivity (units/$/OEE), lead time reduction, and continuous improvement projects with documented savings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct employees, utilizing continuous improvement practices to meet department goals
• Foster teamwork through effective communication and motivation
• Train employees to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, and ability to perform their responsibilities
• Provide leadership and guidance for future growth and development
• Uphold all company policies, work rules, and government regulations

Required Qualifications

• Leadership experience
• Machining experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, micrometers, and calipers
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills
• Motivated, self-directed, and able to motivate others
• Desire to improve manufacturing processes continuously
• Excellent safety record
• Core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs
• Pass drug screening (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)
