Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Learning and Development Operations Supervisor to strengthen capability across the global manufacturing network. This role translates enterprise learning strategy into practical plans, tools, reporting, and execution support for plants and cross‑functional partners.

The position focuses on the Manufacturing Capabilities Framework, Learning Needs Assessments, data and evaluation strategy, and the Plant Training and Development Lead operating model,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning/Instructional design, HR, OD, Business, or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning and Development, manufacturing operations, or related field.
• Experience with learning programs, capability frameworks, skills matrices, or workforce development.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in a matrix environment.
• Strong data interpretation, reporting, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the enterprise Learning Operations roadmap and translate priorities into executable workplans.
• Maintain and improve the Manufacturing Capabilities Framework with stakeholder input and documentation.
• Lead Learning Needs Assessments across plants with templates, calendars, and data-driven outputs.
• Coordinate Learning Data and Evaluation activities, validating and reporting on metrics.
• Develop dashboards and standard reports to enable data-informed decisions by leaders.
• Support Manufacturing Learning Council operations, including agenda and follow-up communications.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent deployment of learning processes and standards.
• Lead monthly newsletter and website updates for the Ford Production System team.
