The LEGO Group is hiring a Manufacturing Job Trainer in the Richmond, VA area to lead hands-on operator training, coaching, and skills development across high-volume production environments.

You will design and deliver standardized training, document procedures, and partner with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to ensure safety, quality and continuous improvement. The role includes 12-hour shifts (6pm–6am) and a 15-day-month schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Proven success delivering training in high-volume environments.
• TWI experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment operation, automation, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on operator training and floor coaching.
• Train employees on equipment operation, material handling, safety, and quality.
• Use defined methods, standardized instructions, and approved documentation.
• Conduct cross-shift training to ensure consistency and reduce errors.
• Provide corrective retraining and reinforce SOP adherence and continuous improvement.
• Dedicate 30% of time to structured training and skill development.
• Create and update training materials with engineering, operations, maintenance, and global teams.
• Communicate process or quality updates to the workforce.
• Recommend improvements based on training feedback.

Join our training team on a stable, non-rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule that offers balance and predictability.

As a Manufacturing Job Trainer, you will develop workforce capability, strengthen safety and quality, and ensure consistent performance across all production shifts.

Our department builds functional expertise through a strong training organization that supports new and existing employees in high‑volume production and warehouse environments. This role includes skills assessment, standardized work instruction, hands‑on coaching, and cross‑functional partnership to drive operational excellence, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Workforce Development

• Deliver hands‑on operator training and floor coaching.
• Train employees on equipment operation, material handling, safety, and quality.

• Starting pay: $27.50/hour plus 10% shift differential.
