This is a standard shift role (8 00 AM -- 4 00 PM) with flexibility to support non-standard shifts as needed.

Approximately 60% of the role focuses on training development, instruction, coaching, and documentation, while 40% is spent performing hands‑on maintenance and providing floor-based coaching to maintain technical expertise.

As a member of the Global Trainer Network, you will help implement global training standards, collaborate with trainers across LEGO sites, and support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Training & Development

  • Create and maintain training materials, job aids, and standardized work documentation.
  • Deliver TWI Job Instruction (JI) training and support onboarding, cross-training, and employee development.
  • Coach and mentor job coaches to strengthen training capability across all shifts.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and ensure consistent application of global standards and best practices.

Maintenance & Technical Support

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on High-bay Warehouse automated systems, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, and elevators.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues, escalating complex problems when needed.
  • Support equipment installation, modifications, and maintenance planning to minimize operational downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using Maintenance Management (MMS) and Warehouse Management (WMS) systems.

Quality, Safety & Collaboration

  • Ensure training supports safety, quality, and operational performance.
  • Participate in daily meetings and shift handovers to align training priorities.
  • Identify and elevate quality or process deviations.
  • Partner with Global Job Trainers across LEGO sites to implement and maintain standardized training practices.

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience with automated warehouse equipment such as conveyors, cranes, shuttles, or elevators.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment with strong knowledge of safety and quality practices.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Comfortable using digital systems and production software.
  • English proficiency (minimum CEFR B2--C1 or equivalent).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for training.
  • Starting Hourly Rate $35.65

Preferred

  • Technical training or certifications in maintenance, manufacturing, or mechatronics.
  • Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding employees.
  • Knowledge of LEAN, Standard Work, or continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience with MES, SAP, CHAMP, or similar manufacturing systems.
  • Familiarity with TWI Job Instruction or other structured training methodologies.
