Job summary

HTC Global Services in Dearborn, MI, is seeking a Manufacturing IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT operations support in a manufacturing plant. You will manage applications, infrastructure, and end-user tools across Windows and Linux servers, with emphasis on IIoT and SDN technologies, in a hybrid onsite role.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of IT operations or support experience, works well across shifts, and can provide weekend production support when needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT Operations or IT Support.
• Experience with technical troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to work onsite with flexible hours in a multi-shift operation; weekend support may be required.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT operations and support for applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools.
• Support a multi-shift manufacturing environment, including flexible hours and occasional weekend production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plant-floor systems and IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate with corporate IT and stakeholders to prioritize system improvements.
• Support incident resolution including triage, business continuity procedures, and escalation support.
• Collaborate with network, server, and infrastructure teams; assist with integration and long-term maintenance of applications/hardware.
• Maintain workload management and documentation of technical support.
• Support local Cisco-based network equipment and Windows/Linux server environments.
• Assist with deploying and supporting IIoT, software-defined networking, mobile, iOS, and Android technologies.
