Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise infrastructure across Windows, Linux, AD, VMware, and cloud environments. The role emphasizes hands-on, independent work with cross-team collaboration in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate will manage servers, virtualization, networking, security, backups, DR, and modernization initiatives while communicating effectively with IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Strong AD administration and virtualization experience.
• Experience with cloud computing and VMware virtualization technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain servers, OS, hardware and software.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and Active Directory.
• Support VMware virtualization and Azure/cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues and monitor performance and security.
• Develop infrastructure policies, documentation, backups, and DR plans.
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to modernize infrastructure.
• Stay current on technology trends and participate in upgrades and migrations.
• Travel occasionally as required by business needs.
