Job summary

Averro is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a manufacturing and operations focus to drive IT-OT convergence and strategic architecture in a North American wood products context.

The role partners with senior leaders, solution architects, IT security, and OT engineers to deliver architecture initiatives, assess technology portfolios, and guide investments while maintaining compliance and value delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience in ERP (SAP), supply chain, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience as a solution, enterprise, or data architect across applications and data.
• Working knowledge of OT and manufacturing systems.
• Familiar with integration platforms and cloud architecture, TOGAF or Zachman.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture strategies, standards, patterns, and 5-year roadmaps aligned to growth.
• Partner with senior leadership to prioritize architecture initiatives.
• Support IT-OT convergence across process control, engineering, and IT.
• Evaluate portfolio and recommend upgrades, automation, and optimization.
• Lead project architecture reviews for integration and alternatives.
• Communicate options, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
• Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, cloud) for business value and compliance.
