Job description

The Enterprise Architect will define and maintain the long-term technology architecture across ERP, IIoT platforms, data platforms, edge-to-cloud infrastructure, and integration ecosystems.

This role partners with global IT and business leaders to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that support manufacturing and enterprise operations.

The Enterprise Architect will drive architecture governance, lead modernization initiatives, enforce standards, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain the 3–5-year target architecture across ERP, IIoT platforms, data mesh/lakehouse/ETL, and edge-to-cloud infrastructure.
• Lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB) for manufacturing-aligned initiatives and approve or remediate solution designs.
• Partner with Product and Program Owners to de-risk delivery for ERP modernization efforts including SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, and Dynamics.
• Establish standards and guardrails for integration patterns and cloud/on-prem/edge architectures.
• Define and enforce non-functional requirements (availability, recoverability, latency, security, compliance, interoperability) across solutions and SLAs.
• Collaborate with global teams on network segmentation, asset inventory, patching windows, backup/restore processes, and change control for production‑critical systems.
• Partner with Data and AI leaders to define data domains, MDM, and pipelines from shop floor systems to cloud platforms.
• Enable real‑time analytics including dashboards, anomaly detection, energy monitoring, predictive maintenance, and computer vision use cases.
• Embed security‑by‑design across the technology stack, including Zero Trust, identity, segmentation, encryption, secrets management, and secure SDLC.
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity requirements and regulatory expectations.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, including 7+ years in manufacturing IT/OT environments.
• 10+ years of experience with SQL, Snowflake, and Informatica PowerCenter / IICS ETL tools.
• 10+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• 10+ years of experience in security architecture, including frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443 and Zero Trust.
• 10+ years of experience with cloud, hybrid, and edge computing patterns, including network fundamentals such as segmentation and SD‑WAN.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience with integration patterns (APIs, EDI, message queues, event streams, OPC UA, MQTT), data platforms, and edge computing.
• 8+ years of strong knowledge of Snowflake features and capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership in architecture governance, roadmap development, and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders across IT, OT, and business units.
