Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect is seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead IT operations across multiple manufacturing sites, developing standardized processes and driving technology improvements. You will manage a distributed team, align IT with business goals, and report to the Senior Director of IT & Cybersecurity.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, experience with NIST/CMMC, and hands-on expertise in cybersecurity, cloud, and virtualization.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8–10 years IT management experience, multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Expert‑level knowledge of NIST 800-171 and CMMC frameworks for government/contractual compliance.
• Proven ability to standardize IT processes, policies, and protocols across locations.
• Hands-on experience with network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi/vSphere, Hyper‑V).
• Ability to align IT roadmap with enterprise security programs.
• Strong leadership and communication, including mentoring remote site IT Managers.
• Regulatory compliance: U.S. Person.

Responsibilities

• Drive uniform IT operations across multiple manufacturing sites with standardized policies and procedures.
• Lead complex IT projects ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Set and track KPIs for uptime, efficiency, and security compliance.
• Oversee budgets, licensing compliance, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business needs into IT strategies.
• Facilitate cross-site communication and best-practice sharing among Site IT Managers.
• Build relationships with external vendors for cost-effective support and contracts.
• Mentor IT Managers across sites and develop development programs.
