Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Manufacturing IT Equipment Support in Normal, IL to manage the full lifecycle of hardware assets and the software stack used in manufacturing. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
• Inventory Management Systems / IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools.
• Active Directory for user and computer management.
• Ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Remote management tools.

Responsibilities

• Track hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate inventory records and maintaining vendor contracts.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, HMIs, scanners, servers, printers, tablets, and other mobile devices.
• Manage procurement, stock levels, vendor relationships, and research new hardware for production environments.
• Resolve IT hardware and software issues, providing technical support to users and other business units.
• Manage the rollout of new equipment and upgrades to workstations or related Manufacturing IT hardware.
