Job summary

Fameccanica North America is hiring a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Officer to support safety across two manufacturing facilities in West Chester, OH. The role strengthens documentation, compliance, and safety culture with the operations team and an external consultant.

You’ll help build processes, lead training, and ensure consistent safety practices on the shop floor and in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating health, safety or environmental programs in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities for safety programs.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support employee safety training programs.
• Track and maintain safety training records and documentation.
• Conduct safety walkthroughs across two facilities.
• Identify safety risks and recommend improvements.
• Partner with leadership to reinforce safety standards.
• Support safety awareness meetings and communications.
• Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and follow-up actions.
• Maintain safety records, permits, SDS files, and compliance documents.
• Support customer safety requirements and audits (ISN, Avetta).
• Collaborate with external safety consultants to strengthen processes.
